Southern Nationals shuffles schedule
Among non-national touring Dirt Late Model special and sanctioned events rained out, postponed or cancelled July 17-20 (among other schedule changes); rescheduled date included unless no makeup date was immediately announced:
MARS: Saturday's MARS Championship Series event at Charleston (Ill.) Speedway rained out before the feature event.
Iron-Man: Saturday's Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series at Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio, rained out and was rescheduled for July 25.
Southern Nationals: With Friday's $7,553-to-win event at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway's being rescheduled for Sunday, July 19, the originally scheduled event at Toccoa (Ga.) Raceway has been reset for Thursday, Aug. 20 and will be a non-points race.
Lake Cumberland: The $4,044-to-win Tim Taylor Tribute at Lake Cumberland Speedway in Burnside, Ky., was rescheduled for July 24.
ULMS: Saturday's Frank Sagi Tribute on Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series at Hagerstown Speedway was rescheduled for Sunday.
Southern Nationals: Friday's Schaeffer's Southern Nationals event at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway rained out following hot laps and has been reset for Sunday, July 19; the series also announced a venue change for Saturday's race with Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway inheriting a cancelled event at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Ga.
WCS: Friday's Structural Buildings WISSOTA Challenge Series action at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, Wis., was cancelled because of air quality issues from Canadian wildfires.
Iron-Man: Friday’s Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series event at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio, rained out.
